NASA SPACE APPS:

In Unity, we developed a tech demo for a game inspired by classic 2D Pokémon games. You play as a hero, and your job is to get rid of Solrith, which represents real-world pollution. It’s important because our audience gets to play a classic RPG that immerses them in a world where they can have fun while learning about pollution. You also interact with NPCs (astronauts) in Globaria, who give you fun facts about pollution for some deep-level-oriented learning. So you also might be asking on what is the purpose of the movesets for the player (Taxes) and Solrith (Radioactivity)? Player's Moves (e.g., Taxes): This move represents a pollution tax, also known as an environmental tax, green tax, or ecotax, is a legislative charge imposed on businesses and individuals to reduce environmental damage. Solrith's Move (Radioactivity): Solrith's moves represent the destructive nature of pollution. Radioactivity could symbolize the harmful effects of industrial waste or nuclear pollution on the environment.
